My state has traffic laws designed to protect bicyclists and the at-fault motorist violated these laws before crashing into me. Does this mean I will win my case?
Violation of traffic laws can be seen as negligent or careless behavior, and this can, in turn, increase the chances that your case will be successful. However, the mere fact that the at-fault party violated a traffic law immediately before the crash does not always guarantee your case will be successful.
